Who says you need to leave home to feel like you're in the tropics? With summer just around the corner, it’s time to get out your shades and treat yourself to this vibrant breakfast papaya fruit bowl! It’s simple to make and packed with vitamins and antioxidants that’ll make you feel like sunshine.

What you will need:

1 medium papaya, ripe - Your papaya MUST be ripe before eating, especially during pregnancy, as unripe papayas contain latex that can stimulate contractions. Papaya is ripe when the skin is orange, and unripe when the skin is green. Papaya keeps your brain healthy by fighting off free radicals!

1 cup of plain nonfat Greek yogurt - Greek yogurt adds a dose of calcium and probiotics to your breakfast. Probiotics are a great form of bacteria that keeps your gut healthy. When your gut is healthy, your whole body will be!

½ cup of fresh berries - We chose blueberries and kiwi. A mix of berries will provide you with antioxidants, fiber, and more! Berries are known for their anti-inflammatory properties which help support overall wellness.

½ banana, sliced - Bananas give you potassium and magnesium. Potassium is important for heart health!

½ cup of granola - Granola will give your papaya bowl a healthy crunch.

¼ mango, peeled and diced - Mangoes are high in Vitamin C and antioxidants. Vitamin C supports your immune system so you can fight sickness and stay healthy!

Raw honey to drizzle (optional) - Honey will add some nice, extra sweetness to your papaya bowl, and it’s another great source of antioxidants, which keep our cells healthy by fighting off damage!

Pink Stork Piña Colada Collagen Powder (optional) - Formulated with Vitamin A and Iron, our Collagen Powder helps you maintain a healthy weight, and your hair, skin, and nails grow. Add it to your yogurt for an extra tropical punch!
