Amy on Being Selected as Small Business of the Year

Last week, we were chosen as the Small Business of the Year by the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce!

When we received the award, one of the Chamber members joked, “We heard people told you not to move here. We’re so glad you didn’t listen to them!”

I’m really grateful, too.

Having grown up here, St. Johns County -- and St. Augustine -- have always been home to me, but they’ve also become home to my business -- and our mission to help women everywhere.

When we moved back to St. Augustine, we wanted to grow our business, create jobs, and support the local economy.

I had a gut feeling this was the right place for my business, and I’ve never regretted that decision.

With the support of our community, we were named one of the top 30 fastest-growing companies in Florida by Inc. 5000, and were selected as one of the top 50 Honorees for GrowFL’s Florida Companies to Watch Award. We’ve expanded around the world, including to Canada, Japan, China, Singapore, Hong Kong, and the Philippines. And during the pandemic, when many other companies had to downsize, we hired employees, expanded our warehouse space, and developed over 40 new products.

With Pink Stork, I not only want to support our customers, I also want to grow other women’s careers and support the dreams and well-being of women in our community. I’d like to thank the Chamber for being a valuable partner in helping Pink Stork fulfill our mission.

With the support of our community, we can change the lives of many more women -- in St. Johns County and around the world.
