Do you ever feel like your friendships are hard to navigate? Do they feel complicated and sometimes difficult and unpredictable? Sometimes talking about the problem too much puts you back at square one. Being quiet is sometimes the best answer for complicated situations. Taking a step back and spending some quiet time with God will be more effective for your troubled friendship than anything else.
We will feel safer and more humbled after spending this quiet time with the Lord. God will help us become more rational and help us realize that the real enemy isn’t the person we’re in conflict with, and, most importantly, that God will use the conflict for good in the end, no matter how the situation turns out.
Encouraging moment of the day: Pray for closure from harmful or negative relationships. Reach out to a friend or loved one who you haven't spoken to in a while.
The only true love in our lives is the love given to us by God himself. He is the only one who can see you and truly look deep into your heart. Because of this gracious gift God allows us to open our hearts to others. We seek to honor Him through our compassion and longing for others. The Bible shows us different ways to live life with a servant heart. Lifting up the broken, having patience, forgiving others, keeping promises, and being generous are all ways we can love others faithfully through the teachings of Jesus. It is important to remember that we are all beloved children of Christ and deserve to emulate His light through our love.

The gift of friendship is one we keep close to our hearts. We build communities with these people, some even become family. We share our highest highs and our lowest lows and learn how to help build each other up into the people we are meant to be.
“Some friends play at friendship but a true friend sticks closer than one’s nearest kin.” Proverbs 18:24
When we fear that someone is not a true friend we must remain steadfast that He would not have put them in our life if we were not meant to gain something from the kinship.
Encouraging moment of the day: What is a lesson a friend has recently taught you? Let them know you are thankful for their friendship and the life lessons they have taught you.
