What you will need:
1 banana (sliced and frozen) - The banana gives your smoothie bowl a thick and creamy consistency. They are rich in Potassium and Magnesium. Potassium is a key player in the overall health of your heart!
½ cup of frozen blueberries - Blueberries are a powerful antioxidant. They are also high in Potassium and Vitamin C. Antioxidants can boost overall wellness by fighting off free radicals that damage cells and lessening your risk for diseases.
½ cup of frozen strawberries - Not only do strawberries add a pretty pink color to your smoothie bowl, they are filled with fiber, potassium, and manganese. Fiber helps to keep your digestive system functioning properly!
⅔ cup of your favorite dairy-free milk - Add less liquid for a thicker consistency or more liquid if you like a thinner smoothie bowl.
½ cup of greek yogurt - Yogurt can add bonus protein and probiotics to your smoothie bowl, but if yogurt isn’t your thing it can be substituted with a little more milk of your choosing. We love probiotics at Pink Stork as they provide healthy bacteria to your gut!
2 packets of frozen Acai puree - This is the main ingredient of your acai smoothie bowl. Acai is a powerful antioxidant. Because it is a superfood, it boosts overall immunity and improves heart health and energy levels!
Optional toppings (nuts, seeds, granola, coconut flakes, etc.) - Your toppings are your choice! We love to add fresh fruit, seeds, granola, and coconut flakes!
How to make:
- Freeze your fruit! Make sure all the fruit that you will add to your smoothie bowl is nice and frozen. This will ensure that you get a nice, thick consistency.
- Add the ingredients to your blender and blend until the ingredients are smooth and creamy. Add more or less liquid depending on the consistency you enjoy.
