We’re fans of brunch. There’s nothing better than getting together with your gal pals on a weekend morning to eat a delicious combination of breakfast and lunch cuisine paired with a mimosa (or several). If you’re hosting a brunch anytime soon, you’ll have to add this tasty Brunch Banana Split to your menu. It’s quick, easy, and so, so good -- for you!
What you’ll need:
Greek Yogurt - 1 cup - Greek Yogurt not only has a ton of protein, which supports your muscles, bones, and hair, it’s also full of probiotics to support a healthy gut.
Bananas - two - Bananas are powerful sources of fiber and antioxidants, and are good for your digestive and heart health.
Peaches - two small ones - Peaches are full of Vitamin C and Vitamin A, which support your immunity, plus they’re high in fiber, which can support your digestive and heart health.
Raspberries - 1 cup - Raspberries are high in fiber and Omega-3 Fatty Acids, which both support your heart health.
Granola - ½ cup - Granola usually contains high-fiber foods, like nuts, seeds, and oats, that support a healthy appetite and your heart.
Sliced Almonds - 2 tbsp - Almonds are a great source of healthy fats and fiber, which can support a healthy weight and heart health.
Sunflower Seeds - 2 tbsp - Sunflower seeds contain Vitamin E and flavonoids that help reduce inflammation, as well as healthy fats that support heart health.
Honey - however much you’d like - Honey contains antioxidants, which support heart health, and can support healthy cholesterol levels.
How to make:
Slice peaches, and if you’d like, cut your bananas in half, too, for a true “split.” In a bowl, add yogurt, topped by bananas, peaches, and raspberries. (Can’t eat peaches? Feel free to add whatever fruit suits your fancy.) Next, top with granola, almonds, and sunflower seeds. Lastly, drizzle (or drench, if you please) with honey. You can also sprinkle on our Collagen Stick Packs for an extra glowy sundae brunch! Before you enjoy, snap a picture and share your creation on social media.
