4 Ways to Ease Stress/Anxiety

"Cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7)

Experiencing anxiety is a completely natural occurrence that every human may feel at some point in their life. Whether it’s a tough hurdle you are overcoming, feeling that excitement and nervousness of pregnancy or worrying about acing that test, anxiety will find its way to the body. It’s normal!

The good thing is you’re not alone. God hears all of our prayers and will answer them in His perfect timing.

Along with prayer and worship, there are other ways to overcome and cope with the feeling of anxiety on a day to day basis!

Physical activity is one of the most important things you can partake in to ease stress and anxiety.

Whether exercise for you means that 6am spin class, a walk around the neighborhood or a dance in the living room to your favorite tunes, the movement counts! These physical activities will help work your muscles and relieve internal stress allowing your body to relax.

Sleep is an extremely important factor to keep your body healthy and functioning properly. The more rest you can obtain the less anxiety you will feel, leaving your body feeling charged and focused.

After a long day, the perfect way to unwind is having a cup of tea to relax and prepare your body for the best sleep possible. With our Calm Tea & Sleep Tea, you can indulge in the best night’s rest and wake up fully rested for the day ahead. The natural herbs and nutrients in these teas such as Lavender, Spearmint and Peppermint are the perfect combination for full relaxation and to calm anxiety.

Reduce Your Caffeine Intake

Although caffeine is a holy grail for many, there are alternative ways to gain the energy you need while reducing your caffeine intake.

A great alternative would be substituting a morning cup of coffee with tea. While still providing a small amount of caffeine, the other essential vitamins and nutrients in tea will overall assist your body in waking up and also feeling relaxed.

Magnesium is an important vitamin that aids in reducing stress and anxiety in the body. It populates in the brain to help regulate the adrenal glands responsible which control stress levels. By incorporating more Magnesium to your body and lifestyle, there have been significant and positive results.

Two ways you can incorporate Magnesium in your routine is with our Magnesium Bath Soak & Magnesium Body Spray.
