Great news, you’re pregnant! So what now? Whether you’re a Type A Momma Bear who has everything planned out or a Type B Mom who wants to just go with the flow, we’ve got you covered when it comes to the things you’ll need to survive your first trimester.
First things first, make sure you’re 100% pregnant! Silly, we know, but it’s a good start.
So, now that that’s done, make your first prenatal appointment. Find a doctor you believe would be able to best care for you and your unborn baby. Don’t know of one? Don’t worry, there are websites out there that you can use to search by zip code or state and city to find the best care in your area!
Your next step is to be as open as possible with your health care provider, tell them everything and anything they need to know about you and your health. Start with the big things such as what medication or supplements you’re already taking, how often you drink caffeine or alcohol, and how much sleep you get each night. Then start thinking about a prenatal vitamin, if you haven’t already been taking one.
Now, once you’re in the clear, the fun part! Finding a cute way to announce your growing family. Take photos! Be creative! Show everyone and anyone that you’re now not just a woman on a mission, but a woman with a baby ready to take on anything.
Once that’s all done, it’s time to start stocking up on all baby growing necessities. Healthy snacks, light workouts, and most importantly, things to get you through the icky part.
