Where are you from?
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA (Glendale and Pasadena areas). I even attended college in Los Angeles at UCLA! At the end of 2019, I spent a few months living in Seattle, WA where I have family and friends, until a job opportunity brought my fiancé and me to Reno, NV in 2020. We didn't know anyone in the state, so it has been an interesting experience moving to a new place during a pandemic! I really enjoy all that Reno has to offer, especially being so close to Lake Tahoe -- one of my new favorite places!

What do you like to do in your free time?
I have two adorable chihuahuas who I love to spend my time with! I always look forward to taking them for walks in our neighborhood. I really enjoy being outdoors, and some of my favorite activities are hiking, running, and snowboarding. I'm a big fan of cooking/baking or doing DIY home projects on weekends. It's a fun way to challenge and prove to yourself that you can always find a way to make it work...some things seem impossible until you try! I also love road trips out of state to visit family and friends. I visit my twin sister in Washington about once a month! It's long drive (about 12 hours), and I really enjoy the time with my fiancé and our 2 pups on the road.

What is your favorite Pink Stork product?
My absolute favorite Pink Stork product are the Total Prenatal vitamins with DHA. My fiancé and I are currently trying for our first baby, so you can call me a little "worried"! I spent so much time researching the best prenatal vitamins for my body, and after considering many options, Pink Stork Total Prenatal was the clear winner for me. Not only do they have amazing ingredients, but they smell and taste great too! I honestly look forward to taking my Pink Stork prenatal vitamins every day because they bring me hope on my TTC (trying to conceive) journey. As a bonus answer, I love the Fertility Gummies as well! They taste so yummy, I have to stop myself from eating too many each day :)
Why did you become a Pink Stork brand ambassador?
I'm extremely passionate about fertility awareness and overall women's health. Just before I turned 21, I learned that I had a rare cancer in my pelvic area. I was initially given a horrible prognosis and thought I would be lucky to live 5 more years. My life flipped upside down! My biggest goal has always been to be a mom, and thinking I might not have that opportunity was my worst fear. After I underwent surgery to remove my tumor, I then decided to preserve some of my eggs because the doctors recommended radiation (which could possibly destroy my fertility). My doctor was shocked by how few eggs were retrieved for my age, so I've since been worried about my overall health and fertility being "below average."
I'll be turning 30 this August and can't wait to get pregnant! My fiancé and I had plans to get married then start our family this year, but we made the difficult decision to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic. Since I'm not getting any younger and we both really want children, we decided to start trying for baby #1 before making new wedding plans!
I'm trying to learn and take care of my body as best as I can in order to grow my family. I want to treat myself well, instead of doubting my fertility or my timeline in life. Everyone's story is beautiful and perfect in its own way, and I want to help share that. I found Pink Stork after reading so many articles about which prenatal vitamins are best for women trying to conceive. I ultimately selected Pink Stork, not just for the amazing health benefits, but because of what the company stands for...and because it is woman-owned and run! That gave me so much confidence and trust in the product. I love Pink Stork's story and mission to help women in all stages of life, and I feel proud to support a company with such compassion.
Being a Brand Ambassador to me means empowering women to care for their physical and mental health, no matter what challenges may come. Pink Stork has been a huge part of my TTC (and overall health) journey, so I became a Brand Ambassador to join a community of women supporting women! I want to share all of my story (the ups and downs) to encourage others along the way. Be patient. Be present. Be grateful. Be gentle with yourself and find hope and joy on your journey.
What can other women in the Pink Stork Community connect with you about?
Other Pink Stork women can relate to me because they've chosen to care for themselves! Life doesn't always go as planned. (Does it ever really go as planned?!) For the longest time, I wanted to be married with 2 children before I turned 30. I was so focused on that goal that I let it take over precious moments and, at times, I was ungrateful for my health, accomplishments, and timeline in life. I forgot that everything isn't in my control, and that's okay! I've experienced hardship, but I've chosen hope and commitment to myself over fear. My journey is unique, and it doesn't need to fit the mold of what I once thought should be, or what others think should be. At the end of the day, what matters most to me are family, health, and happiness...and that's what I strive for. I think most women can relate to that!
If anyone ever needs someone to talk to, I'm here for you! Please feel free to reach out to me! I thank Pink Stork for giving me a community that is so supportive and allows me to share my journey without judgment. I hope all women reading this will be empowered to share their stories as well :)
