At Pink Stork, wellness is personal. My name’s Amy Suzanne Upchurch, and I’m the Founder and CEO of Pink Stork. I’m also a proud mom of five, the wife of a Veteran Marine, a daughter, and a sister. I founded this company from my own health struggles, and no matter how many times I tell my story or how much time goes by, I still get a little teary-eyed. It was a hard time in my life -- and my family’s. While pregnant with my first child, I experienced severe hyperemesis gravidarum, which led to complications that threatened my life and the life of my unborn child. I was able to survive, but I suffered through two more pregnancies without relief. I felt so alone during those three, difficult pregnancies, and I constantly questioned God, “Why?” Why was this happening to me? Why wasn’t my body behaving the way it should? Why, why, why …

Finally, when I knew I was pregnant with my fourth child, I decided that I needed to take control of my own health and do something different. Through diet and lifestyle challenges, the use of natural ingredients, and my faith, I had a pinch-myself-everyday pregnancy experience where I was chasing my kids around the yard, rather than lying in a hospital bed. I knew I had finally found the answer to my why, and discovered the purpose behind my pain. I felt called by God to create the company that I had longed for during those difficult days -- one that would not only provide products to support women’s bodies, but also come alongside women and support them mentally, physically, and spiritually throughout their wellness journeys.

Everything we do at Pink Stork ties back to our mission to bring hope to women and have a positive impact on their lives. I’ve cultivated an enthusiastic and diverse team, many of whom have struggled with their own unique health issues, who care deeply about our clean, natural products and the women who trust them every day. Wherever you are on your wellness journey and whatever your stage of life, you can trust our products knowing they’re designed, tested, and loved by women like you.

One of the things I’m most proud of at Pink Stork is our Customer Obsession Team! Their whole purpose is to obsess over you guys. We want to celebrate you, mourn with you, cry with you, laugh with you, and help you reach your goals. Our passionate team wants to support your unique wellness journey. As someone who’s been there: I know the pain, uncertainty, and frustration of having a body that isn’t acting the way you’d like it to. My promise to you is that my team and I will be here for you, to walk with you hand in hand as you create a healthy foundation for your life. (If you’re interested in joining the PS Life, fill out our Customer Obsession Form to help us get to know you better.)
